Fake pro.
Because if I was a real pro, I would have gone with Barry and Parbo and at least taken 3rd place.
You can barely see in the video I had a mishap at the start and chased for a couple laps back into the lead group.
Parbo and I had a killer weekend. 2nd place both days for him and 5th place both days for myself. I was up till midnight gluing tubulars last night. My Edge wheels are getting some FMB SSC 34mm tyres and I got a non-whitewall coton Racing Ralph set for my alloy wheels. Those are the secret Azencross-Granogue-Barton tyres.
I’m selling off those 34mm whitewall PRO Racing Ralph FMBs if anyone is interested.
We are driving to Delaware today. 8 or 9 hours of highway. I’ve got my PSP charged up so I can stay awake while Parbo drives into this evening. We could not get a mini van so I have a gas guzzling SUV. ugh.
Let us not discuss the environmental impact “pro” racing has on the planet.
Parbo and I are still on West coast time, staying up till 2am every night.
Mitch (Biowheels owner and UCI race promoter) is awesome. His house is really beautiful, I wish I lived in it. Kate and Mitch were gracious hosts, taking us out on rides and giving us each our own rooms! Both of them are vegetarians which, is kinda nice. I don’t ever notice if people I stay with are veg or not but when you happen upon a veg household it reminds you how nice and easy it is.
Traveling to other parts of the country renews my excitement about being a vegan. And mainly it reminds me how spoiled we are in Portland. That place is like vegan paradise!
Brian Yellin, watch your back.

Hey Molly,
How much for the tires? Great job in Ohio, by the way. Feel free to contact me offline at the email I posted or at work (thom@unitedbicycle.com)
Cheers,

Shotgun on the tires!
How much for the Ralphs? Have they been glued before?
Where are the Vagen pics…what are the odds of you selling one of those too?
I’ve never been a Veg or Vegan for that matter…but I sat down and above and beyond the social and health benefits I found that the financial gain from eliminating meat and cheese alone from my diet would be huge…almost enough to buy a frame off of Sacha (factoring in the four year wait no doubt). But oh man that sushi tastes good.

Hey Molly,
Congrats on a good weekend of racing. I will show you mine if you show me yours. Oh hell, here is a link to my blog with photos of my single speed Surprise Me! Speedvagen - code named “Sparkles” by Sacha.
Cheers,
